Polly The Frog (Demo Version)

Instructions

Use the left/right arrow keys or A/D to move, up arrow or W to jump, space to eat, down to crouch, and hold down to charge up your jump and then once Polly flashes, jump to jump super high! Collect leaves, eat enemies, avoid pits and thorns, and get to the end of the level.

Notes and Credits

This is just a demo of a 2D version of my Polly The Frog series. This demo will likely never be finished, so I thought I'd share it now. There are only 2 levels. Play the 3D versions here: https://itch.io/c/1493077/polly-the-frog Ads are allowed on this project, per usual. Polly enters the second dimension in this 2D platformer! Walk through the grasses of the backyard and eat the enemies that get in your path. This demo is fairly short, although you're welcome to remix and make your own levels! Fun Facts: This is actually technically the first Polly The Frog game. The 3D games I released on my itch.io account were using assets from this unshared 2D version the whole time. :P (And yes, the map screen theme is just a remix of Bitlandia's map screen theme.) #frog #games #polly #pollythefrog #platformer #scrolling
