Battle Controls: -Select which attack you'd like to use -When jumping, press the up arrow right before landing to deal extra damage! -When using the hammer, press and hold the left arrow until the red circle lights up, then release it to deal more damage! -When the enemy is attacking, press the down arrow right before the enemy attacks to reduce the amount of damage taken.

Looking back at it, it wasn't very accurate to Paper Mario's battle engine and had a lot of glitches. This time it has minimal glitches and much more involved and polished gameplay.
