Instructions

RULES (scoring below) - Type the letters onscreen in any order - Mistakes do hurt you - If a letter falls to the bottom, you will lose one life - A streak is a succession of at least 3 correct letters with gaps of at most 0.5 seconds between successive letters - Two multi-streaks gives you a bonus round in which you have ten seconds to press a certain key as many times as possible SCORING - The score multiplier is decided by your mode; on easy it is 0.5, on medium it is 1, and on hard it is 2. - Correct letter: +10 x score multiplier - Mistake: -5 - Streak (3-6): +10 x score multiplier - Multi-streak (7+): +20 x score multiplier - Bonus Round: +2 x score multiplier (per key press)

Thanks to @fromage- for curation! - thanks for all the support I had to manually change the highscore; I am pretty sure cloud variables still don't work CREDITS - Project based off of keyboard ninja on typing.com - Music from @Reimagine NOTES (gameplay) - **FULLSCREEN RECOMMENDED; on smaller screens, letters look pixelated and sometimes even shifted up or down - To change modes, just drag the marker or click somewhere on the line (keep in mind the marker is constrained to the nearest point on the line) - Every three rounds, one more letter appears per round, and the letters move faster - A multi-streak is a streak of 7 or more letters and awards twice as much as usual - If there is no name before the colon in the highscore, then it was set by someone not logged in NOTES (other) - Are cloud variables broken? I can't figure out why highscores don't work - Please comment any bugs or ideas - The most difficult part of this was programming key detection (without causing lag or using 26 scripts) so that holding a key down will neither result in continuous point losses nor always score a letter...that's probably quite confusing -Maybe I should program a lowscore...
