==ABOUT==
Pac-Man Scratched isn't just another faithful recreation of Pac-Man, this classic recreation has more content built into it!
You can play in multiple different mazes, including Pac-Man's Park, Ms. Pac's Quadrants, Atari Alleyways and Watcher's Way. You can also make your own mazes with the Maze Workshop!
There are also 6 playable characters, those being Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man, Crazy Otto, Atari Pac and Pac-Mom.
There are also various options you can use to customise your experience. Change them up and see how differently the game plays with them.
==HOW TO USE THE MAZE WORKSHOP==
The Maze Workshop is accessible through the Maze selection menu, where you can import a maze or leave that field blank to start a new project. Then to switch between the Editor and Play modes, press R.
To start building your maze, you use your mouse to draw the tiles onto the maze. To choose which parts you want to use, look at the row of categories on the bottom, then press the corresponding key to select that tile. The categories are as follows:
1 - Walls
2 - Edges
3 - Corners
4 - Fills
5 - Dots, Pellets and Ghost house-related objects.
6 - Special tiles. (Invisible walls, walls that restrict ghost movement, but not yours and tiles that slow ghosts down.)
Q - Eyedropper tool. Hover over the tile you want to pick, then press Q to pick that object.
E - Eraser
The top bar contains some important stuff too, which are as follows:
R - Playtest the maze. When testing, there's a small icon on the top left showing you can press R to enter Editor mode.
T - Maze settings. You can edit the colour, spawns and maze size here.
Y - This reveals a maze code. You can paste it somewhere if you want to save your work for later or copy that code and share it to others so they can play (And edit) your maze. No remixing needed!
Happy building!

#games==UPDATE NOTES==
v2.8.1.2
Fixed the editor settings menu not showing the variables you can change.
v2.8.1.1
Changed update format from STAGE.MAJOR.MINOR to STAGE.MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH
- A certain easter egg can no longer be triggered when in the middle of a game.
- Changed Atari Pac-Man’s jump and land sounds.
v2.8.1
I wanted to make v2.8.1 a few days after v2.8 came out, but there was wayyyy too much important stuff in my way which led to this “quick” hotfix update being held back, much to my annoyance.
This hotfix adds more things to the massive refinement pile of v2.8, along with fixing bugs & oversights I missed and changing certain features in preparation for v2.9.
MENU CHANGES
- Clyde Swap is now disabled when using the Atari Game Style or Punky’s Revenge Gamemode, since Clyde or his replacements are not present.
- Cutscenes are disabled in the Atari and Pac-Mania Game Styles since they do not have cutscenes.
- Removed the exclamation marks from settings that disable certain others, will work out a better way to notify people of why certain settings are disabled in v2.9.
GAMEPLAY CHANGES
- Punky has been given some adjustments.
- Readjusted ghost speeds in the Mania Game Style. Everything is basically down a level. (Blinky and Punky are now fast, Pinky and Sue are Medium, Inky, Clyde and Funky are Slow and Spunky is Very slow.
SOUND CHANGES
- Fruits now have a different spawn sound in Atari Fruit Chase
- Extend Sounds are now tied to characters.
- Gave the car a super dot sound.
- Taizo Hori now plays his theme when getting dots.
- If the Dug Naissance music is chosen with Taizo Hori, the music will be quieter when Taizo isn’t getting Dots.
- Mappy now has a new dot eating sound.
- The Wafer Dot Shape now affects Super Dots
FORGOT TO NOTE IN v2.8
Pressing F will now show the frames per second on the bottom right.
Due to many issues with the patch notes being stored in the Notes & Credits (Mainly character limit and clunky reading) I will try to find another method of storing them.
FIXES
- Fixed some dot shape and Pac-Man’s Park related issues.
- Fixed Power Pellets not blinking if the Dot Shape is Wafers.
- The Exclamation mark removal also fixed the erroneous exclamation marks being on the Randomiser, even though it didn’t randomise the Dot Shapes anymore.
- Fixed Power Pellets sometimes showing up in intermissions.
- The additional Invisible Eat Sounds should be able to play now.
- Added a new way to trigger an easter egg after the old method was removed in the Credits rework.
- Fixed the “Ready” and “Player One” text not appearing properly.’
- Fixed Pac-Man not jumping properly when he isn’t moving.
