To unlock characters in the animatronics section of the menu, you must die to them at least once. When you beat a night, your power adds up and converts to money. Also when you beat a pre-night game, you'll get money determined on how quickly you beat it. You can spend money in the shop to buy power-ups. I'd appriciate it if you'd look through the extras menu.
